In Item Plan, inventory values are typically updated via the Receipt Generation process. There may be instances, however, where you want to manually plan or calculate Receipts and Inventory. For these instances you can use the Generate Inventory from Receipts or Generate Receipts from Inventory functions.

Generate Inventory From Receipts

If you have Receipts values planned, check the line items you would like to generate plans for and select Generate Inventory From Receipts. The box will display to confirm the number of items and the Time Frame.

Once you click Generate, Toolio will create an Inventory plan based on the values that you have planned for Receipts.

Generate Receipts From Inventory

If you have Inventory values planned, check the line items you would like to generate plans for and select Generate Receipts From Inventory. The box will display to confirm the number of items and the Time Frame.

Once you click Generate, Toolio will create a Receipts plan based on the values that you have planned for Inventory.

Time Frames when Generating Receipts or Inventory

To update the Time Frame, adjust the dates in the View. Please note that this function will only work for future time periods.
