Overview

Toolio grid gives you certain capabilities that make it a very powerful reporting tool, in which you can understand which products are driving your decisions and you can take actions right within the platform. These capabilities are:

  • Automatic Actualization, which make sure that you're always looking into the latest data.

  • Having Plans and Actuals in the same place, so that you're comparing what is happening to your expectations.

  • Advanced filtering, grouping, sorting and report scheduling capabilities. If you choose to do so, you can even have your reports delivered to Slack

The platform comes out of the box with best-in-class reports that will give you an overall understanding of the business at the item level. To adjust these reports to your business, you can fully customize these reports and save them as your own.

Below are some of the Out of the Box reports and detailed sections on each of these.

Sort: Gross Sales Retail in descending order.

Best Seller report that compares TY sales and inventory to LY. Use this report when you do not plan down to style color by week level.

Time Frame: Last 4 Weeks

Sort: Gross Sales % variance to Plan in descending order.

Best Seller report that compares TY Sales & Inventory vs Plan.

Time Frame: Last Week

Sort: Gross Sales Ticket descending order.

A drill down report that lets you review your division level down to your size level.

Toolio - Reporting - Season Trend Report

Time Frame: Last 13 Weeks

Sort: Gross Sales Retail descending

Review the trend of your items by week to understand sales behavior through time compared to your inventory. Analyze the impact of your discounts and markdowns on your gross sales units builds.

Toolio - Reporting - Current Sales to Stock

Time Frame: Last 4 Weeks

Sort: Gross WOS Units Var Act vs. Plan ascending

Understand the product mix compared to your plan by reviewing the gross WOS variance of the actuals vs the plan. Analyze your penetrations of sales compared to your stock.

Toolio - Reporting - Last 30 Day Performance

Time Frame: Last 4 Weeks

Sort: Gross Sales Margin Dilution Act in descending

Review the total allowances impact on sales, margin and inventory. This view bring you from initial price down to final price highlighting the impact on gross margin from IMU.

Toolio - Data Validation

Time Frame: This Year

Sort: Gross Sales Retail Act in descending order.

Validate your integration is reflecting the correct sales, inventory, receipts, returns, discounts and markdowns.

Time Frame: Last 4 Weeks

Sort: Gross ST Units Act in ascending order. Conditional Formatting on Gross ST Units Act if below 25% based on items being bought for 13 weeks. The Avg Weekly ST should be 7%.

Review ST% vs Plan and/or lifecycle to help determine pricing/marketing strategies. If your 4 week ST% is lower than 25% it may be an indicator that you will need to implement markdowns or discounts for non core seasonal items.

Toolio - Reporting - FWD Sales to Stock

Time Frame: Last 4 Weeks + Next 13 Weeks

Sort: Gross WOS Units Plan in ascending order.

Zoom in to your product hierarchy to review fast turning classes down to the week you may break.

Toolio - Reporting - Best Sellers

Time Frame: Last Week

Sort: Gross Sales Retail in descending order.

Best Sellers is an excellent Monday report that gives you an idea of which products are driving your business. You can view this at a high level for Last Week or dig into a certain Department or Class. It will be essential to understand your sales, your margin and ending weeks of supply.

Depending on what you see in the data, you can make decisions to:

  • Chase into more products

  • Move receipts out

  • Mark down certain products

And you can take all of these actions all within the Toolio platform.

Toolio - Reporting - Best Sellers to Plan

Time Frame: Last 4 Weeks

Sort: Gross Sales % variance to Plan in descending order.

You can see a sample for this report above. This is a powerful report, not only to look into what is driving your business, but which products are your "Outliers", to identify products that are exceeding your expectations, and your ending Weeks of Supply (WOS) for these products, in case you're able to chase in to these products.

Toolio - Reporting - Category

Time Frame: Last Week

Sort: Gross Sales Ticket descending order.

This is a drill down report that lets you review your division level down to your size level. It allows users to identify trends at a high level, and then pick out the styles / colors that are driving those trends.

Toolio - Reporting - Seasonal Performance

Time Frame: Last 4 Weeks

Sort: Gross ST Units Act in ascending order. Conditional Formatting on Gross ST Units Act if below 25% based on items being bought for 13 weeks. The Avg Weekly ST should be 7%.

This is an excellent report to give you an indicator of how newly introduced seasonal products are performing. For each of these products, you can see when the product was introduced, thanks to Toolio automatically capturing Choice First Sale Date, and the ST % the product has achieved so far. Products that are at 25% or below are excellent candidates to start considering them for markdowns or extra promotion on the site.
