📘 What’s the Difference?
Data Recovery
Purpose: Restore your production data to a previous point in time.
Effect: Your current production data is replaced with historical data.
Example Use Case:
You accidentally forecasted incorrectly over your working scenario, and want to revery back to the plans you had yesterday and need to restore your environment to that point in time.
Data Clone
Purpose: Create a new environment using historical production data.
Effect: Your original data remains untouched. You’ll receive a new Toolio instance (with a new URL) containing the restored data.
Example Use Case:
You want to test a feature or troubleshoot an issue in a copy of your environment without affecting live data.
Please note there may be an associated cost for Data Cloning
🗂 Backup Availability
We store your data securely and provide access to the following types of backups:
