Target Plan Type and Target Plan Scenario
Assortment Plan Settings let you choose which Multi Plan and Scenario your Assortment Plan should compare against. This makes it easy to reconcile and validate your bottom-up plan versus top-down plans using the target plan you'd like to use most.
By default it is set to your first plan configured in your Multi Plan and the default scenario which is likely the Master Scenario. Then,
Go to: Settings → Assortment Plan → Assortment Plan Settings
Use the dropdowns to select:
Target Plan Type
Target Plan Scenario
Your selections are saved automatically and applied system-wide. After you set your Target Plan Type and Scenario, the following areas will use them automatically:
AP Reporting – Reconcile
Reconciliation compares your Assortment Plan against your selected target plan.AP Summary View – Plan Metrics
Plan metrics in the summary view reference the target plan/scenario you selected.AP Rollup – Plan Metrics
Rollup metrics align to the same target plan baseline for consistent reporting.AP Rationalization – Hindsight Metrics
Hindsight metrics are calculated relative to your chosen target plan and scenario.
