Toolio’s Collaboration Tool within the Assortment Plan is designed to streamline communication across teams, making it easier than ever to align on product decisions, provide feedback, and resolve issues—all within the context of your plan.

You can now collaborate directly on line items within your Assortment Plan using a set of powerful tools that enhance visibility, coordination, and communication.

Provide feedback or notes by clicking on the plus (+) icon located in the first column of any line item. This opens the collaboration panel for that specific choice. If there are already existing comments on that choice number of comments are displayed instead of the (+) sign.

Need someone’s input? Use the @mention feature to tag your teammates. Start typing @ followed by their name, or click to select from the list. The mentioned user will be notified automatically.

You can upload documents or images directly from your desktop to give additional context or share supporting materials for the item you're discussing.

Prefer to talk it out? Record and attach audio or video notes to any line item to explain your rationale, raise concerns, or align faster without typing long messages.

Spot an issue or want to walk someone through your thinking? You can also record your screen and attach the recording directly to the item, making it easier to report bugs or share walkthroughs.

Ensure accountability by assigning a comment to a teammate:

Want to loop in someone externally or reference a comment in another discussion?

Once an issue is addressed or a decision is made, mark the comment as resolved to keep your workspace tidy and focused.

In the choice details panel, you'll see a dedicated section 'Collaboration' where you can track all the comments related to that choice.

Click on the down arrows on the choice line, then select Collaboration tab. You'll see all your comments related to that specific choice.

The Notification Inbox centralizes all comment activity you’re involved in—making it easy to manage discussions across your plans.
