Overview
A dataset is a saved collection of filters and timeframes that define the data scope for reports and views. Instead of setting up filters and date ranges every time you switch views, you can save them in a dataset once and apply them across multiple views.
For example, if you always work with data filtered for “Men’s Division” and “Tops,” you can save that configuration as a dataset and reuse it wherever needed.
Views and datasets are decoupled: Changing one does not alter the other.

Save / Save As
2. Associate a Dataset with a View
Open the
View Selector
Click on View Options menu
Click on Change Default Dataset
From the pop-up opened, select the dataset you want to associate with the current view.
This becomes the default dataset when accessing that view.
3. Pin a Dataset
Use the pin icon to keep a dataset fixed across different views. To do so,
This means that no matter how you change the view, the underlying data remains consistent.
Example Use CaseIf you're frequently analyzing performance in the Men’s Division for a specific product category (e.g., Tops), you can:
Create a dataset with those filters.
Pin the dataset.
Switch between views without resetting your data filters.
Backward Compatibility
All your existing views, now have datasets associated with that view (same name as your view name). When you navigate between the views, you'll continue to use your existing reports as is.
