While a view loads, Toolio shows a loading tip — a short card that teaches a shortcut or feature you may not have discovered yet, such as the command bar or Quick Filter. Tips appear only while data is loading and disappear as soon as your view is ready.
When Tips Appear
Tips only show on longer loads. If a view loads in under a second, no tip appears.
Each load shows one tip, picked from a rotating catalog, so you see something different each time.
You only see tips that apply to you. A tip is never shown for a module or feature your organization does not use.
Tips appear on grid loading screens across Toolio — Merchandise Planning, Item Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocation, and more — and on the full-screen loading overlay during longer operations such as generating inventory.
Turning Tips Off or On
Tips are on by default for every organization. An Admin can turn them off for the whole organization:
Go to Settings > Configuration > Organization Settings > Settings.
In the General Settings card, uncheck
Show product tips while loading.Click
Savein the toolbar that appears.
The setting applies to everyone in your organization. To bring tips back, check the box again and click Save.
FAQs
Do tips slow down loading?
No. Tips are purely informational — they never delay loading, block clicks, or change your data.
Can I turn tips off just for myself?
Not currently. The setting is organization-wide and can be changed by an Admin.
