You can filter the data you see on Toolio using the filter button at the top of left of the grid. This feature is available in Merchandise Plan, Assortment Plan, and Item Plan modules.
Standard Filtering in Merchandise Plan, Item Plan and Allocation
Let's say you'd like to filter only Men / Clothing / Outerwear and Color Brown, Black, or Beige in Item Plan.
First, you would click Filter > Add a filter
Now, you are able to select from all fields which you can filter by. Upon defining your desired filter criteria, you can click out of the filter menu and your changes will be applied automatically.
Please note that for different fields, you can select between the include, excludes, equals, not equal, less than, greater than functions. Additionally, you can add multiple filters to further specify the data displayed.
Advanced Filtering in Merchandise and Item Plan
Furthermore, you can use advanced filtering to filter out multiple criteria on a single attribute. Let's say we'd like to add further filtering to the above filter result and we'd like to filter out the products which title contains COMBO or MEMBERS words.
In this case, you'd use the Advanced Filtering functionality on the very left hand side by clicking on the filtering icon.
Once you click on the Advanced Filtering icon, you'll see that your filter criteria is moved to the top with the following menu options such as:
Add Filter Rule
Creates a new Filter Rule
Duplicate Filter Rule
Duplicates the Filter Rule created with OR
Remove Filter Rule
Deletes the Filter Rule added
Delete Filter
Deletes the Title filter from the Filter criterion
For our example, we'll duplicate the filter rule and use AND or OR operations to filter out the desired result.
Note that Advanced Filtering will be available with the New Assortment Plan release until then we'll keep the standard filtering for the current Assortment Plan module.
Filtering in Assortment Plan
Let's say you are building out your Men's Outerwear Assortment Plan for Holiday 2021 and want to only evaluate products that are Brown, Black, or Beige.
Copy-Paste multiple filter conditions from Excel
You can copy-paste a list of filter conditions defined in Excel or Google Sheets cells to Toolio "has any of" or "has none of" filter options. To do so, let's say you have a list of Product Titles on Excel as in the table below.
Title |
BLAKE JACKET |
COMBO CORD JACKET |
MODULAR TRENCH |
WINDBREAKER JACKET |
Copy the values in this list, then paste it in the Filter as in the screenshot below and you'll see that all are listed as separate titles in the filter component.
Please note that this operation only works for attributes defined as string, that means this will not work with the single select options.
