Exporting Allocation Strategies

How to export Allocation Strategies data from Toolio to cloud storage (S3, SFTP, Azure, or GCS) or as a downloadable CSV

Exporting Allocation Strategies

You can export Allocation Strategies data from Toolio to S3, SFTP, Azure (scheduled-only), or GCS (scheduled-only), or as a downloadable CSV. Allocation Strategies is a selectable source module in both Scheduled Exporters and the Manual (CSV) Exporter — useful when you need to push strategy data to cloud storage or share it downstream.

For general exporter setup, see the Configuring and Managing Exporters guide.

Use Cases

  • Export allocation strategy data to cloud storage (S3, SFTP, Azure, or GCS) for downstream processing or archiving.

  • Generate a CSV snapshot of your strategies for offline review or sharing with cross-functional teams.

Available Fields

When Allocation Strategies is selected as the source module, the following fields are available in your export mappings:

The name of the allocation strategy

Start Date

The start date of the allocation strategy

End Date

The end date of the allocation strategy

Phase Out Date

The date after which the strategy begins phasing out

Location List

The location list or store group targeted by the strategy

Demand Type

The demand type used to drive the allocation (e.g. ROS, Total Sales, Assortment Plan, Item Plan)

Additional fields are available beyond those listed above. To see the full list, open the Sample Data section in Output Settings of your exporter configuration.

Update Last Exported At (Recommended Transfer Orders)

When configuring a NetSuite exporter with Recommended Transfer Order as the source module, you will see an optional toggle: Update Last Exported At on Recommended Transfer Orders.

When enabled, Toolio stamps each exported RTO row with the timestamp of the most recent export. This lets you track which transfer orders have already been exported and identify any that were re-exported.

This toggle is off by default. Enable it if your workflow requires tracking export history at the individual RTO level.
