💡 New: Dynamic Size Curves are a new feature. See the difference between Size Curves and Size Spreads here
Toolio has been utilizing Size Spreads which will soon be replaced by Size Curves. There are two specific use cases for Size Curves:
Static Size Curves: Users would like to define the size curves based on a manual entry or through imports (will be introduced soon).
Dynamic Size Curves: System calculates the size curves based on sales information defined for a specific or relative period based on specific filters and these defined size curves get updated periodically based on a defined update cadence.
⚙️Set Up: There is a one time set up to start using Size Curves. Please see the relevant steps here.

FAQs
What is the difference between Size Spreads and Size Curves?
Historically Toolio allowed manually creating Size Spreads using Item Plan, or importing them manually. Given its importance, we've created a standalone Size Curve Generator module to create Size Curves, and have them be dynamically updated. To support existing Size Spread capabilities in Item Plan forecasting and Assortment Planning, we automatically create a Size Spread with the same name for each Size Curve that is created. Below is how it works:
User created a dynamic Size Curve
System automatically creates a corresponding Size Spread
User uses the generated Size Spread in Item Plan & Assortment Plan
In the future, we will be deprecating Size Spreads and will only utilize Size Curves.
How can I set up my account to start using Size Curves?
Size Curves are generated at the SKU Location level. So there are 2 pieces of setup to enable Size Curves.
Ensure Your Account Is Set Up with Locations: When you go to Master Data > Locations, you should be seeing the appropriate locations for your account. Please see this article to learn more about location management in Toolio.
One Time Data Refresh for SKU x Location under Settings > Data Refresh. See below for how to do the Data Refresh for SKU x Location data.
Note: If you have any questions on how to set up Size Curves, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
